Attempting to hack an old Tower Hobbies TSS-50 for continuous rotation

Tower Hobbies TSS-50 cassing and drive gears removed. Servo's guts. Servo guts minus the pot.

The case and servo horn gear. The gear the servo horn mounts to, and the gutted potentiometer.

The serov horn gear has been drilled out to remove what
is thought to be the mechanical stop. The pot is needed as the mount/bearing for the servo horn gear, so
the mechanical stop inside the pot is removed (the pot is broken
now).    The pot is needed as the mount/bearing for the servo horn gear, so the mechanical stop inside the pot is removed and the structure is bolted back under the servo housing (the pot is broken now).
