Mech Bay Project Part 76

Aril 3rd, 2007

Tony's Detailing the MBGD Wall Cladding

H & T beams and .020 strips of styrene added for detailing. Tony:
"The inner surfaces are detailed with chopped 'H' beam, 'T' beam and .020 strip break up the wide expanses of the styrene 'armor' plating and give it a bit of scale."
Detailing the bay side slopes.
All it needs now is solder conduits.
Tony:
"A shot showing the deteriorated concrete and what not. I still have a ways to go yet......"
Tony:
"I put the two side walls together to see how 'two' mech bays (if completed) would look side my side.
I've started detailing the front 'slopes' with some serious cutting of styrene and structural shapes.
The only thing left to do in these three major structural shapes is to run solder 'conduits' and junction boxes in key areas.  Which key areas is still up in the air because I'm just making this up as I go.
The wall areas for the terraces still need sheathing of course......
