Shuttle bay, or the forward facing opening of the launch pods. Fighter return bay, or the rear facing opening of the launch pods.
We are calling the forward facing opening the shuttle bay, it awaits it own mangled white LED.
The rear opening is the fighter return bay, that's all we see it being used for, it awaits its L array of SMT red LED & resistor.
The back wall of the cavity of the bay entrances are also moved back with carfull dremeling, room must be made for the LED and wire bundles.
