From the President (Fireside Chat)
We had another good turnout, with 15 members attending this meeting.
A big thank you to Neil Prentice for bringing his R/C Helicopter to the meeting.  It was a lot of fun trying to fly the thing inside, and no one was injured!
Congratulations to Ed Taylor who is getting married in April.  We hope this does not keep you from attending future meetings.
Best wishes to Neil Butler who has been in the hospital.  We wish him the best for a speedy recovery.

Club Business
Ongoing:
We are still in the design stage for a new T-shirt for the group.  John Lester is still waiting for design ideas for "Techmages- Heavy Industries".  Please E-mail John if an idea.
Road Trips:
Our first road trip of 2007.  We did a show of hands.  It looks like we have 8-9 group members interested in going to Mad City Modelers show 4/21/07 in Madison WI.
Dues/ Collections:
Joe Suttie (Treasurer) reports we are on target and that all members who owe dues have been emailed.
Group projects/ Build days:
The Mech Bay Project group met 3/10/07 prior to the 5:30 meeting.  The project is progressing well with a completion date set for 5/26/07 (Wonderfest).&bnsp; The group plans to meet every other weekend until the deadline.  Please look at Joe's site for the latest info.  John Lester has generously offered to print up the decals for the project.  Thanks John
Next build day (a double day) is scheduled for Saturday April 7th and 8th at Joe's house.
There's a %50 chance of another premeeting buildday on the 14th as-well.

Next meeting will be held at the Blackhawk Center on 4/14/2007.  There's a %50 chance of another premeeting build day.
Demo:
Tentative Informal demo set up for April meeting.  John, will show us how to use a photo tent to take snappy pictures of our models.  Please bring something you are proud of.  Thanks John.

Demo / Speaker:
Neil Prentice was scheduled for a demo on figure painting.  Due to technical difficulties, Neil was unable to do his demo.  Hopefully we can reschedule in the near future.
Show and Tell 3-10-2007:
Jon Kunatz:
Jon was able to get some more work done on his vehcile for the Mech Bay porject
1) 1/35 scale Mech Bay Hover Tractor. This is a scratch built/ kit bash.
2) 1/35 scale Battle Mech Shadow Cat which is a 100% scratch built project
Terry 'Ter_or':
1) 1/48 scale F9F Panther by Trumpeter.
2) Minbari Miniatures - Terry brought in miniatures to show off new painting techniques.  Great job.
3) 1/72 scale F-302; Terry is currently reworking wing joints/ other corrections.
Tony Agustin:
Tony was able to bring in several projects:
1) 1/4 scale Cutey Honey from Volks
2) 1/3 scale Angelie Jolie in resin.
3) A set of action figures (TachiKomans) from the Stand Alone Complex TV series
4) The Vinyl Mad Cat, with much more detailing
Larry J. 'scifi58' and wife Cynthia:
Larry 'sci-fi58' brought in:
1/35 scale Mech (Bushwacker).  100% scratch built.  Larry showed off the detailed plating work he is doing.
Neil 'mechmonkey':
1) 1/350 scale Yamato from Bandai
2) Air hogs Havoc Heli (RC Copter).
Joe 'Sparky':
Joe had an Arm/ Welder/ Crane he banged out for the MALP vehicle, all the parts for the arms came from an exisisting GGRU sheet, the Legs Sheet.
1) Updates re: the masters he has for molding and for the Mech Bay project
2) Arm/ Welder/ Crane he put together for the MALP vehicle. Good job Joe!
Larry 'LDS20':
2 scratchbash vehicles for the Mech Bay project:
1) 1/35 scale Hover platform; support vehicle for the current Mech Bay project
2) 1/35 SCALE MALP for the Mech Bay project; another support vehicle.  Joe will be casting for purchase
Ed 'Tayed-Gachi':
Ed had some tiny accurate amo cans he scratched, and cast for the AS-90
1) AS-90 from Trumpeter 1/72 scale.  Update given on this build
John 'Onzero':
Lots of projects in the works:
1) Games workshop Basilisk artillery tank, with lots of greeblies added
2) Fine Molds' R3C-O Seaplane from Porco rosso, 1/48 scale
3) 1/100 Coznio Zero and Black Tiger kits from Bandai
4) Time slip Creation's "Film Canister Ship" ready for paint BattleStar Galactica Mining ship seen in both series)
5) Fastforward's "ESS Arrow" starship, also ready for paint
Ken 'Valkyrie':
Ken's started casting for SSM!
1) 1/4000 scale Black Pxius
2) 1/72 scale Sky hopper casts (Star Wars)
Chad 'ChadR':
1) 1/48 scale Special Hobby F2G Corsair with after market resin and vac formed parts.
2) 1/72 scale Corsair for comparison
3) 1/24 scale De Elegent Kenworth T 2000 Resin Conversion kit
Arthur Krull:
Art brought some RTV putty (Looked like Smooth-ons Poyo putty) to try to get some molds of the Movie area bridge, sensor dome, and impulse engines, the putty couldn't pickup the details fully.
1) 1/48 scale Re-entry glier from Small Artwork (resin kit).
2) 1/48 scale SF Trainer decals from SMS.
3) 1/48 scale Mercury decals from SMS.
Mike Muscarello:
1) Enterprise "B".
2) Enterprise "E", kitbash.
