Neil needs a 3 LED sequencer for another estes rocket conversion.

Using Perfboard I can lay out a ring of LEDs without worrying about pad patterns.

The clock generator, and 1 of 8 counter circuit (555 and 4020 cmos chips).

It appears to fit exactly.

He asked for a 1,2,3 sequence but a 4020 gives you 1 to 8, and with lots of
Blue LEDs stripped from ForeverBright Christmas Light sets. . .He gets an 8 ring LED
configuration. Looks like outputs 1 and 7 are lower than the full power! 1.5 volts as
opposed to 2.x volts. The circuit can be run at 4 volts, the chip limits the power so
now worryies about over powering the Blue LEDs
