Tony:
"Here are some sketches based on the cardboard mock-up that was constructed. I'm working on
the surface detailing in this pic."

Tony:
"Here the structures are indeed concrete, with trenches in the middle showing steel support
structures and piping. The concrete faces and exposed corners are partially clad in protective
armor plate in case a drunk mech pilot walks into it."

Tony:
"The next sketch is the crane mechanism that spans the distance between the towers.
The mechanism itself is on vertical tracks on the face of the tower wall so that the whole thing can
be lowered to the ground.
There is a small one man crane operator cab just behind the big hook. On the left is a long
observation room that is also attached to vertical tracks and can elevate as well."

Tony:
"I still like the idea of having a garage door at the rear of the towers. This time there
are no crane supports attached to it. The machinery at the top operates the garage door
mechanisms.
I was thinking . . . what if we had just one tower to the right of the diorama and eliminate the
overhead crane altogether? Some sort of lifter/robotic repair arm can utilize the tracks on the
inside face of the single tower."

|
Tony:
"The last pic is a ramp connecting the tower to the garage door. The mech itself is standing
on a turntable in between and just slightly forward of the towers."

Tony:
"I know these sketches are alot to take in and might look intimidating to do, but personally I
want 'WOW' factor and tons of it.
Now the big question was asked if we can have this done by Wonderfest 2007.
I don't know."
