Regular (Wednesday) Rides started
Ter_or and I have started the regular Wednesday rides. Email me to get on the list. We usually ride at Busse, but we like to hit Poplar Creek and the Fox River too. Vernon Hills is a ways away but we might hit that one when the days get longer.

New bike mobile
We put down a deposited and ordered a Toyota Matrix!
It'll be a while to get it. Not sure if I'll try to get a bike roof rack or not. Be nice to have it setup to carry junk on trips though.

Started bicycle riding. Went out Wednesday with Terry at Busse woods, and Saturday with Karebear along the Fox River to St Charles for a Starbucks.

Bicycling: Tuesday Bicycle Ride
We will try for a Tuesday Ride this week, around Busse. Once again, we'll meet by the Bike store Village Cycle Sport. Leaving this shopping center during rush hour is much easier. There is an on ramp to 90 west there . . .

Bicycling: This week the Wednesday Ride becomes a Tuesday Ride
Anonymous writes "We will be riding from Busse woods ~5:30 pm on Tuesday. The meet point is across from the southeast corner of Higgins and Arlington Heights Road (the bike store is in the shopping center there)."

Bicycling: Bicycle Ride Saturday
We are trying to do a ride this Saturday We will either start in Wheaton or ride the Elgin branch of the Prairie Path down to Wheaton. There is a chance of rain; accuweather says chance of thunderstorms Saturday. But we also have the Techmage meeting Saturday so we need to do all the hobby stuff in one day leaving Sunday for homework.
